Designed to be versatile enough to both operate ARB Air Lockers, air-up
oversized tires and be compact enough to fit into tight areas where other
high flowing compressors cannot, the new CKMA12 compressor is the highest
flowing compressor in its class. With a 50% duty cycle supporting a flow of
2.65CFM, this compressor will have no problem airing up four 35² in a single
duty cycle.
Featuring a pressure switch controlled air manifold system specifically
designed to work with ARB Air Locker equipped vehicles, this unit is ideal
for operating ARB Air Lockers, however, the unit works equally well as a
stand alone on-board air system for tire inflation.
Fully sealed for dust and moisture resistance with a relocatable splash
resistant air filter assembly for waterproof air intake positioning, this
compressor is well suited to the harsh conditions known to serious
off-roaders.
The hard-anodized cylinder bore and Teflon impregnated carbon fiber piston
seal for reduced friction combined with the German made high shock rated
cylinder bearing ensure maximum product longevity.
A new anodized mounting bracket dissipates motor heat and allows the unit to
be repositioned 180º for maximum installation versatility. Anti-vibration
and sound deadening materials have been integrated into the mount and the
100% ball bearing equipped motor with unique linear brush pre-load system
ensures low heat and quiet operation for the life of this unit.
Electronically the new CKMA12 compressor by ARB features a heavy duty
Maxi-Fuse for in-line circuit protection and the motor has been internally
thermal protected from extreme temperature damage.
Packaged fully assembled and complete with wiring loom, ARB Air Locker
solenoid plug contacts, switches, air-filter with washable high-flow
sintered bronze filter cartridge and mounting hardware. The ARB Pump-up Kit
(PUKT), which includes the tire inflation hose, chuck piece and recreational
inflation fitting accessories is sold separately
